Manual bidding
The "Manual bidding" strategy allows you to manually set bids for specific impression criteria. You will get the maximum number of impressions subject to the limits you have set for the bid, display region, and so on. Competition with other advertisers will also be factored in.
Updates to how budgets work
- On June 22, campaigns with manual bidding and a shared account balance switched from daily to unified weekly budgets. Existing budget values were automatically recalculated as weekly amounts, taking ad schedules into account.
- Starting July 6, campaigns with pay-per-click strategies can carry over a portion of unused budget to the following week.

Weekly budget
Campaign spending per calendar week.
The strategy tries to maintain the given weekly budget, distributing it across the calendar week from Monday to Sunday.
The budget may be spent unevenly throughout the week, but the weekly limit won't be exceeded. The campaign won't exceed the weekly budget unless there's a budget reset.
The minimum weekly budget is ₽300 (see values for other currencies).

You can change strategies at any time in your campaign settings. If you switch from a manual strategy to an automatic strategy and then back again, the bids you set won't change.
